Apollo AD

Apollo AD is a Windows application written entirely in VB.NET to ease the process of creating users and updating user information in Active Directory. Apollo AD's main features include:

• The ability to create users in Active Directory in a specific container or organizational unit. (This application can create tens, hundreds, and even thousands of user accounts all at the click of a button*. This includes setting passwords, and assigning user attributes such as address and phone numbers during account creation.)
• The ability to update user attributes (including setting passwords) for any number of accounts with ease.
• Built in ability to assign the same password or generate a random complex password for all users created or updated.
• Extensive logging that you can save or print to record actions performed by the application.
• Built in Active Directory Browser for viewing raw object attributes in Active Directory (Limited to non-binary attributes only)

This application has many uses for example:

• You can use Apollo AD to populate the address and phone number information for all your users from an exported HR database.
• Creating hundreds or even thousands of test user accounts for testing active directory in a lab environment.
• Resetting passwords for batches of users

* The unregistered version allows you to create users or update user account attributes for up to 10 user accounts only. The registered version does not have these limitations.

System Requirements

The following are the minimum system requirements to run Apollo AD:

• Windows 2000 Workstation SP3 or later
• Windows XP Professional SP1 or later
• Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 (Built into the installation package)
• Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Active Directory
• User account with permissions to create/update accounts in Active Directory
